As Part of the ESCAP Conference, Delegations from Various Countries Visited Astana Hub

As part of their participation in the Asia-Pacific Ministerial Conference on Digital Inclusion and Transformation, the delegation from IT Park Dushanbe, along with representatives from other countries, visited Astana Hub — the largest innovation technopark in Central Asia.

During the visit, the CEO of Astana Hub, Magzhan Madiev, conducted a tour, sharing insights on the achievements of Kazakhstan’s IT ecosystem, the activities of the technopark, and its support for startups. The IT Park Dushanbe delegation was introduced to successful cases from Astana Hub residents, which include more than 1,500 IT companies, over 400 of which have foreign involvement.

Astana Hub offers its residents unique benefits, including tax and visa incentives, educational programs, infrastructure, and investment support. Since its launch in 2018, the technopark’s participants have achieved $819 million in IT export volume, and the attracted investments have exceeded ₸274.6 billion.

For IT Park Dushanbe, the visit to Astana Hub was a valuable opportunity to learn advanced practices in creating and scaling IT ecosystems, establish connections with international partners, and exchange knowledge. The delegation also discussed prospects for cooperation, including attracting investments and supporting startups in Tajikistan.

The conference, organized by UN ESCAP and the Ministry of Digital Development of Kazakhstan, brought together over 400 delegates from 30 countries. Participation in such a significant event strengthens IT Park Dushanbe’s position as a key player in the development of the IT sector in Tajikistan.
